The Junghans Max Bill Edition Set 60

The Junghans Max Bill Edition Set 60

To honour the anniversary of Max Bill who created an iconic watch design for Junghans in 1961, Junghans has released a limited edition of three watches that are sold in a set. These watches take the true essence of what Max Bill created for the brand and commemorated an incredible partnership that they had. All three watches are simply in design but display such beauty to many collectors.

The Max Bill Edition Set 60 is a trio of watches that all share similar design elements. The trio consists of a high-tech quartz three hand watch with a sub-seconds dial and date, a automatic three hand, center seconds watch with a dial, and a regulator. All watches have white dials, with accents of orange that give them dial a pop of colour on the simplistic dial design. The watches are all about 38mm in diameter and are steels cased with a grey PVD finish. They come on a grey/tan leather strap.

Both the automatic and regulator are powered by a base ETA 2824 movement. The quartz piece has a high tech quartz movement produced in-house by Junghans called the J101.66 caliber. It has high tech features like radio-controlled time calibration and a system that checks the position of the hand to ensure it is as aligned as possible.

The three watches are only being sold in the set of three and there are 1060 sets being produced. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible contribution Max Bill had to watch design and the watch community.

Enjoy!
