My Great-Grandfather's Pocket Watch - The Watch that Started it All

There normally is a watch in everyone’s collection that marks the beginning of their journey with watches. Sometimes it is their first watch they ever received, other times it is a family heirloom. This Elgin pocket watch belonged to my great-grandfather and was gifted to him upon his graduation from high school. This watch started a tradition in my family where we would be gifted a watch for our graduation from high school.
