The Life of the Watch

The Yacht Timer is used to time the start of a regatta race. It allows for sailors to know when to have their boat at the starting line before the race begins. This Memosail is no exception. The Memosail was created to compete with the Aquastar company and the Felsa regatta movement, a project undertaken by the Ebauches Company. 

This specific watch was bought by an avid sailor in San Francisco, California and was worn almost every month during sailing adventures in the San Francisco Bay. It was given to his son who rarely wore it, but made sure he kept it as clean and well-running as his Father. He then sold it to an avid collector in Atlanta, Georgia who wears it in the summer months to enjoy its beautifully clean, blue dial.

Condition: The case has some wear, especially on the back. Some of the gold plating has been removed, but is normal for the age of the watch. It comes with an aftermarket blue perlon strap.
