Condition: Longines from the 1950’s need no introduction. The brand produced exceptional watches throughout its history. This watch was produced in 1953. On the caseback, the watch states that it has a 10k gold filled case. However, it appears the gold has come off, and what the result is an exposed steel case. The case is stamped with “D&A”, indicating it was produced by DiVincenzo & Arienti, a Brooklyn-based case maker who manufactured cases for Longines, Omega, and Hamilton. While the gold filling is no longer on the case, the case still has sharp edges. The watch features black dial, that has aged nicely. The watch has hour markers that are recessed into the dial. The Longines logo is applied to the dial. The movement is stamped with “LXW” indicating the movement was imported and sold in the USA market.

The watch does not come with box and papers.
