Should you Buy a Watch with Bitcoin?

Should you Buy a Watch with Bitcoin?

I have been approached on multiple occasions by potential buyers of some of the watches I have on Life on the Wrist to trade the watch for cryptocurrency. It has happened so much and I have had to think about it for a very long time before denying their offer. There are a few questions I ask myself before some asks to buy a Rolex from me for bitcoin, and I thought I would share with you why I decided not to take the bitcoin.

Being that Bitcoin rallied to above $8000, I decided to share my opinions of bitcoin, cryptocurrency trading and watches. The first reason why I do not pull the trigger and join the bitcoin movement is that I do not know enough about bitcoin. I have many friends who are avid enthusiasts and traders of cryptocurrencies. I just have not done enough research on the subject to feel like I know what I am doing. The second reason is it is too volatile of an asset class. Yes, volatility is exactly how you can make money, but for my risk profile, the downside is simply too high. Lastly, I really do not know what the future holds for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a whole. I definitely think blockchain technology will be around for a while but I am unsure about bitcoin. Oh, I also know good watches will always be around!

Enjoy!
